ShenanArts is proud to present DEVOUT, a new play written and directed by Sherry Ramsey.

DEVOUT stars Guiding Light favorites Grant Aleksander, Robert Newman, and Michael O'Leary, alongside Los Angeles stage actor Robin Nuyen. Nuyen portrays Robert Hurst, a troubled and angry older man grappling with his past while confronting fractured relationships with his two sons.

Set in a small Southern town, DEVOUT explores the emotional fault lines within a family forced to reckon with life, death, and long-buried truths. Both poignant and universally humorous, this touching story reminds us of the endurance of family and the power of love.

"DEVOUT is about the moments we avoid—and the ones we can't forget," says Ramsey. "It's a story about forgiveness and understanding."

Before the official performances, ShenanArts will offer audiences an opportunity to experience this moving new work during two special preview performances.

Whether you're eager to be among the first to see DEVOUT or simply wish to support local theater, this is a meaningful way to do both.
