The Cemetery Club

September 5-8

In this warm and poignant comedy, three longtime friends gather regularly to laugh, gossip and argue before going to visit their late husbands’ graves as they try to put the past behind them and move into the uncharted territory of widowhood. Their fun-loving camaraderie is turned upside down when widower Sam enters the scene – and as the ladies vie for Sam’s attention, the dynamics of their friendship may be changed forever.

The Cemetery Club, a story seemingly about death, is in fact about relishing life and the loved ones with whom we share it. Exploring themes of courage, loss and renewal, this funny and sweet-tempered play is about love, forgiveness, and enduring friendship.

NOTE: This is a special Shenanarts on-stage production.  All seating is General Admission.
